Ophiuchus, The Man Who Tears The Serpent Apart

I should have known when I saw the press conference for the American Medical Association last year on television. Behind the spokes person was a new symbol for the AMA. The AMA has always used a caduceus, that symbol with the two snakes intertwined on a rod with wings at the top. The caduceus was inspired by an ancient sign however; the sign of the man who came to be known as the “father of medicine”, the one who healed Hippolytus with snakes. His name was Aesclepius and his symbol was one snake entwined around a rod, the rod of Aesclepius. Now; behind this speaker was a new sign, only it was an old sign, older than the caduceus; the rod of Aesclepius had made it’s way to the world stage via a press conference of the American Medical Association.

My hair stood on end when I saw it this new stylized version of an old stick with a snake coiled around it. Why did they change their symbol? Why would they resurrect such an ancient and for the most part unknown symbol? Why was it plastered all over the walls like some weird wallpaper at this press conference? These people know what that sign is; and who’s sign it is and there is a reason they are splashing it on the television, they always tell you what they are going to do before they do it!

I quickly wrote to some of my favorite secular researchers to get their opinion, and none of them seemed to think it had much significance. Deep inside of me, I knew it did, but like the blogs I had written about it a few years earlier it didn’t cause as much as a sniffle in my direction.

Then, two weeks ago my son came in for lunch and said, “Mom, I’m not a Sagittarius anymore!” (Yes, please pray for my son) I said, “What?” and he said, “I’m Off-ick-is now or something like that, they added another sign to the Zodiac” . My hair, once again, stood on end, all my flesh from nose to toe turned to goose flesh,, they brought out the 13th sign! No wonder the AMA had it plastered all over a wall during a press conference; they were tipping their hand, showing us what they were going to do next.

A couple of years ago, before I was born again, I wrote a blog about Ophuchius. Some of you may not yet know what Ophuchius is; it is the thirteenth sign of the zodiac. The astrologers I spoke with about it back then poo pooed it, downgraded it and said it wasn’t an important constellation. It’s there I said! It’s up in the sky; you cannot just ignore it! As above so below, right? Poo Poo, it’s minor. Nostradamus wrote about it, and said it’s been hidden. I’m a born again Christian now, and I don’t really care about what Nostradamus said, he got his information from demons. Although, if he was in a secret society, then it did mean something; it’s intel from the other side, it’s how they tip their hand, to this day in movies, books, logos etc. So let me tell you a little bit about Ophuchius. Who was also known as; Aesclepius.

Ophuchius is in the constellation of Serpens and means; Serpent Bearer. The name Aesclepius, who was the real man Ophuchius is named for,  means; “to cut out“.  He was the son of Apollo & Coronis. His mother, murdered for having an affair with Kronos while she was with child. Apollo, suddenly mournful for his son, cut him out of the dead body of  his mother, and gave him to the Centaur, Chiron to teach him medicine. He got so good at healing that he healed Hippolytus,; where we get the Hippocratic Oath that Doctors pledge to this day.  Then, the legend goes,  that Hades began to get jealous and angry that he wasn’t going to have as many souls in his underground if Aesclepius was not stopped. So, Hades went to his brother Zeus and complained, so Zeus struck him dead with a thunderbolt. That upset Apollo and he took his mournful plea to Zeus and Zeus put him in the sky, and called him Ophiucus, the serpent bearer.  He is  the only constellation named after a man well a man/god or hybrid if he was the son of Apollo a Greek God, and Coronis a mortal woman. There is your Greek Mythology regarding the subject. Now, this isn’t scriptural but it is supposedly ancient history, and I think a visit with a scholar may be called for at this point because admittedly; I’m out of my league.

His placement in the stars is between Sagittarius (the centaur) and Scorpius the Scorpion, his body in the heavens is literally cutting the constellation Serpens (the serpent) in two; Serpens Caput, and Serpens Caudus. His right foot is trampling Scorpio and his other foot is hovering over the Golden Gate of Heaven. The center of the Milky Way Galaxy, where it is said the gods ascend and descend.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents, and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. These words of Jesus Christ say it all when it comes to the power we are given from on high. The  locusts/demons released from the abyss in Revelation 9:3  are given power as the scorpions of the earth have power. Could the dark rift in the center of the galaxy be the abyss?

Then there is Hebrew Astronomy; the Mazzaroth which tells the story of the Gospels, in the stars. The stars that led the Magi from the East to visit the young Christ child; as they saw Jupiter doing a triple conjunction and that just didn’t happen unless it was to herald the arrival of the Messiah.

Flash forward to 2011 and magnetic North  has shifted substantially as much as 40 miles per year according to NOAA.. We had two massive earthquakes last year that caused the earth to shift. Then birds fall dead from the sky, fish wash up on beaches all over the world, the Earth it seems, has shifted on it’s axis. Shifted enough to add Ophuchius to the zodiac! The Hebrew Mazzaroth knew it was there all along..

On the website; teaching it says that, Ophuchius is fulfilled in the approaching Millennium.  His position at Passover of 2007 having Ophuchius left foot hovering over galactic center, heralds Judgment and the second coming of Jesus Christ. This constellation has something else quite magnificent in it; besides the crushing the head of the scorpion, and ripping a snake in two. It has two clusters of  remnant stars!  God always preserves His remnant.

According to the article “The Golden Gates of Heaven and Earth” by Steve Santini; Asks “Could it be that the writers of the first Century Christian Document  entitled -the Didache-The Teaching of the Twelve be referring to this season of what is now called galactic alignment  on the Winter Solstice when they wrote; Then the signs of truth will appear  First, the sign of Heaven opening?” The Greek word for opening is  extension, like a sail on a boat unfurling in the wind.”  The following is a translation of the last three verses of the Didache, by Ivan Lewis, from an extant Greek manuscript with considerations given to the Coptic and Latin texts:

6. Then the signs of truth will appear, first the heaven opening, then the trumpet sounding then the resurrection of the dead.
7. Yet, but not of all, as it is said: “The Judge will come, and all His angels.”
8. Then the world will see the judgment coming on the clouds of heaven.
Modern scholars have noticed similarities in the Didache with the Gospel of Matthew.”

Scientists from the Minnesota Planetarium Society seemed to think things have expanded, as well, they were behind the impetus to include Ophuchius in the Astronomical charts in January of 2011. It is about time I think as Johannes Kipper also studied this star extensively in October of 1604 and it came to be known subsequently as “Keppler’s Supernova”, yes this bright star is classified as a super nova and he even published his findings in a book called; De Stella Nova pede in Serpentarii.

It was of course, the evil Babylonians that  didn’t acknowledge this constellation in “their” Zodiac, but the Egyptians did, in any case they scrapped Ophucius for some reason, perhaps because it reminded them, that one day a man would come who would defeat their leader; Satan, and that’s why they hid it. The tearing of the serpent in two, and trampling on a scorpion who is looking at the scales of judgment was too disturbing?

Now; as a born again Christian I would not normally pay attention to this, as I have renounced and repented from Astrology along with the other activities that God finds an abomination in Deuteronomy 18:10,11.
However; God made the heavens and the earth, Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years. Genesis 16 And God made two great lights; the “greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

The ancient Hebrew astronomers kept the Mazzaroth; for signs, and seasons, days and years. They knew Opuchius was there the whole time. They knew God made the firmament, and named all the stars and what is bound on earth is bound in heaven and what is loosed on earth is loosed in the heavens. God knows the end  from the beginning, and so do we, because God gave us a book. It’s called the Bible and it tells us to watch and pray, that there would be signs in the heavens heralding the return of His son to defeat Satan, that old serpent, and reign over His kingdom. I am not saying Ophuchius is the sign of the Messiah, because according to the Mazarroth he is not; but heralds some important signs. Didn’t God call the stars angels? And He named each and every one?

I don’t think about astrology when I see these things, but I know from my past what those who still walk in darkness believe. Because God allowed me to do what I did so He could use my testimony to share the Gospel, to watch and warn when I see these signs and symbols. We are told to “sound the alarm” and be prayer warriors, when I see these things, I know what to pray against, and I know who wins, because I have read the end of the “Book”, the Bible. We are also told to “search out a matter” and that’s what I do, because as it says in Jeremiah 33:3 “Call on me and I will show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not.”

God put signs up in the heavens for us to see, and Jesus Christ is coming back soon and he is going to  crush the head of the serpent and preserve His remnant. God is putting us on notice, look up for your redemption draws nigh. To put the exclamation point on it he put it on a big banner so to speak and unfurled it in the sky, to let Satan know, his time grows even shorter. Glory hallelujah He’s coming soon!

If you don’t know Jesus Christ, get to know Him. He is the only begotten son of God. John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God and the Word was with God.2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Job 38:31-33 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades? Or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth the Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

No, we cannot, the angels cannot only God can draw His epic adventure in the sky, and all we have to do is look up and see the signs that God put there for us to see.
